Team participation in the conference in Kathmandu (Nepal) from November 14 to 16, 2024

More than 320 delegates from 21 countries took part in the regional (Asian) conference.

During the conference, negotiations were held with FIG president Dumashi and FIG executive director Louise Friiz-Hansen. The meetings discussed issues of promoting the set of navigation software and equipment ProGeo, developed by "NIIMA "Progress", on international markets.

"NIIMA "Progress" presented a report on the topic "Modern developments based on a satellite navigation system to solve problems associated with climate change and natural disasters." The report was devoted to the use of the ProGeo software package for restoring land rights after natural disasters. Particular attention was paid to the advantages of this solution in the field of base station network control for long-term base stations (CORS) and real-time networks (RTN). In particular, a large set of base station monitoring tools allows for timely detection and exclusion from processing of stations damaged by natural disasters. In addition, it is possible to work at a large distance from the disaster zone using VRS (virtual base stations) technology.
