How Russian developments are expanding the GLONASS network to Antarctica

Today, Russian achievements in the field of microelectronics are successfully used in numerous industries, including geodesy and emergency response systems. In the near future, dozens of GLONASS stations are expected to be deployed both in Russia and abroad, including Antarctica. The technology is based on a module developed by NIIMA Progress (part of Group of Companies "Element", MOEX:ELMT).
