Geodetic GNSS PRO-GEO receiver developed by NIIMA "Progress" (part of Group of companies "Element", MOEX:ELMT) is included in the State register of measuring instruments (registration number 98653-26). The status of the measuring instrument gives an official character to measurement results, which means that the receiver can be used both independently and as part of the PRO‑GEO software and hardware complex when performing any types of work where high‑precision coordinate reference is required.

The receiver is a part of a developed geodetic class precision positioning system designed for geodetic, topographic, surveying and other work requiring calculation of object coordinates with sub-centimeter accuracy. Development of the device was carried out using subsidies in accordance with PP-109. Structurally, it is a monoblock with a satellite antenna and a geodetic receiver. It can be used as a mobile base station.

An important advantage of the solution is complete localization, as all receiver components, including printed circuit boards and housings, are manufactured at russian enterprises. Software of the complex is also completely domestic and is included in a registry of Russian Ministry of digital development. Another feature of the solution is modularity, which allows one to modify the receiver to meet customer needs. The project has passed key stages of preparation for serial production. In July last year, tests of prototypes were completed, and in November, an installation series was released, confirming the product's readiness for large-scale production. Production of the first serial batch of equipment is currently being completed.
