"NIIMA "Progress" presented a high-precision satellite geodetic complex PRO-GEO
The event took place in Novosibirsk and brought together more than 500 participants – leading industry experts, entrepreneurs and representatives of government agencies.
"NIIMA "Progress" was represented at the Congress by Anton Arkadyevich Chernenko, Deputy Head for the implementation of complex projects, Andrey Gennadyevich Zimin, Head of the Department for the development of mixed microwave modules, and Aleksey Lvovich Kurenshchikov, Leading Software Engineer. The event included a business program and an exhibition, where colleagues presented our developments — prototypes of a GNSS receiver, a PRO-ANT antenna, a series of PRO-VHF modems and a high-precision antenna for base stations to prevent reflections (choke-ring).
The business program included a discussion on "Technological equipment of a modern cadastral surveying company". It brought together market leaders to discuss issues of technological development of the industry. Anton Arkadyevich spoke about domestic geodetic complexes on technologically independent platforms, focusing the participants' attention on the fact that the presented receiver is a transitional model. In 2026-2027, it will be produced using an ASIC of our own design, which will compete with analogues developed and manufactured in China. A software from the geodetic complex is already being actively tested and used by enterprises in the geodesy and cadastral market.
The discussion participants agreed that modern technologies (GNSS, laser scanning, UAS, GIS platforms, etc.) are becoming a key tool for increasing efficiency of cadastral and geodetic works, and licensed and certified domestic developments are demonstrating competitiveness.

The discussion resulted in specific recommendations for key industry players. Developers and suppliers were asked to expand the functionality of geodetic instruments, UAS and software for data processing automation, as well as to ensure compatibility of technologies with the requirements of Rosreestr and NSPD. Businesses and educational institutions need to more actively implement digital solutions in the processes of cadastral registration and geodetic surveys, develop advanced training programs and use software included in the Register of Domestic Software of the Ministry of Digital Development. In turn, government agencies need to support the development of domestic geodetic complexes and promote creation of industry standards for UAS and GIS platforms.
